Citation Styles

The citation style you choose to use will depend on the style your instructor prefers, or the subject area in which you are doing research.

Style manuals provide specific guidelines on how to format the elements of your citation, including the order of the elements, punctuation, spacing, proper page layout, use of quotations, and more.

The library offers several resources for citing your materials. Most materials may be found by asking at the Circulation Desk as these are likely reference materials.
